The matte finish on these plates is beautifully understated, letting the colors of a simple salad really stand out. I was surprised how well they resist chipping after a few weeks of daily use.

The plates feel substantial in the hand without being clunky, and the bare stoneware really lets the colors of the food pop. I've been using them daily for a week and they've held up great in the dishwasher.

The first time we used these plates for a dinner party, the food popped against the sandy, matte surface. Each piece has a satisfying weight and feels substantial in the hand. Cleaning up was easy too—no weird residue or sticking.
