Alfombra de cesta

The hand-tufting gives it a texture you can actually feel under your feet, like little woven ridges that catch the light differently. I’ve had it for two weeks and every time I walk past, I run my hand over it—the depth is surprising for such a simple-looking rug.

I was curious how the three-dimensional effect would look in person, and it's even better than the photos show—the different tufting directions catch the light beautifully. It adds such a cozy, artisanal feel to my living room floor.

I keep catching myself running my hand over the basket-weave pattern because the texture genuinely shifts depending on which way you brush it. You can tell someone tufted this by hand, the little variations in the pile give it a depth that flat rugs just don't have.
