The white-grey marble has a beautiful matte finish that makes it look like a small sculpture on my counter. Crushing spices with this feels smooth and controlled, even when I'm grinding a small amount.

I was a little worried the marble would feel cold and clinical, but it's actually incredibly smooth and satisfying to hold while grinding spices. The weight is perfect for steady crushing without sliding around.
